Level Tally Privacy Policy

Level Tally is built so your information stays with you. The app has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and the developer never receives any of your data.

Information we collect

None. Level Tally doesn't collect, store or share any personal information on servers run by the developer or anyone else.

Information kept on your device

To work, the app saves your caravan profiles (names and measurements), sensor calibrations, the names you give your sensors, which sensor is paired with which caravan, and your preferences such as appearance and audio settings. All of this stays on your device.

iCloud sync

If you turn on iCloud Sync, your caravan profiles, calibrations and preferences are stored in your own private iCloud account so they appear on your other devices. This data is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy and isn't accessible to the developer. iCloud Sync is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.

Bluetooth

Level Tally uses Bluetooth only to connect to your WitMotion WT9011DCL-BT50 tilt sensor and read its tilt, motion, battery and temperature readings. When scanning, the app looks only for this sensor and ignores other nearby devices. Sensor readings are used live to show you how level your caravan is and aren't stored or sent anywhere.

Motion sensors

If you use your iPhone or iPad as the sensor, or measure a slope during calibration, the app reads the device's built-in motion sensors. These readings are used live on the device and aren't stored or sent anywhere, apart from the resulting calibration, which is saved with your caravan.

Apple Watch and CarPlay

Live level readings are sent from your iPhone directly to your paired Apple Watch, and to your car's screen when you use CarPlay. They don't pass through any server.

Location

Level Tally doesn't access your location.

Third parties

The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code, and no data is sold or shared with anyone.
