Overview

OBD Tally is an independently developed vehicle-data application. It does not require an OBD Tally account and does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or analytics SDKs.

Your information is used only to provide the features you choose to use.

Information Stored by the App

OBD Tally may store:

• Vehicle details.
• Dashboard and CarPlay layouts.
• PID profiles and custom PID definitions.
• Alert rules.
• App preferences.
• Diagnostic results.
• Recorded driving sessions.
• Vehicle sensor readings.
• Timestamps associated with recorded data.
• Location points when route recording is enabled.

This information is stored locally on your device unless you enable iCloud synchronisation, create a backup, export a file, or share information yourself.

Bluetooth and Vehicle Data

Bluetooth access is used to discover and communicate with a compatible OBD-II Bluetooth Low Energy adapter.

Vehicle information received from the adapter is processed on your device. It may be stored as part of a recorded driving session when you choose to record one.
