Welcome to OBD Tally

OBD Tally is a customisable OBD-II dashboard, vehicle data logger, and diagnostic companion for iPhone and CarPlay.

The app began as a personal project for monitoring a Ford Everest V6 and is shared for other vehicle owners and enthusiasts who may find it useful. It is not professional workshop software, a certified diagnostic product, or a substitute for qualified mechanical advice.

OBD Tally was developed for and tested with the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ adapter. Other ELM327-compatible Bluetooth Low Energy adapters may work, but compatibility cannot be guaranteed. Wi-Fi and classic Bluetooth OBD adapters are not supported.

Safety: Set up the app, dashboards, alerts, and recording before driving. Do not interact with your phone or attempt diagnostic work while operating a vehicle.

OBD Tally was designed and tested with the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+.

Other ELM327-compatible BLE scanners may work, but adapter quality and command support vary considerably. Low-quality ELM327 clones may connect successfully while producing slow, incomplete, or incorrect results.
