1. Getting Started

Trip Tally works immediately with sensible defaults. You can begin recording trips and refine your settings later.

Recommended setup

1. Open Settings and confirm your Home Location. Trip Tally uses this for round-trip detection and several statistics.

2. Choose your Measurement System. Distances are stored internally in kilometres and displayed in metric or imperial units.

3. Set your Carrier Region so mobile-coverage choices match your location.

4. Optionally choose a default vehicle, towing option, towing item and destination type.

Quick tip: If you have an existing trip, the Start Location field can use your most recent destination, making return-trip entry faster.
